Peri Menopause
Peri menopause is the phase leading up to menopause, typically in a woman’s 40s or 50s. Hormone levels fluctuate, causing irregular periods and symptoms like hot flashes, mood swings, and fatigue. It varies in intensity and duration, impacting daily life.
Menopause
Menopause marks the end of a woman’s menstrual cycles, usually occurring in her late 40s or early 50s. During this time, the ovaries stop releasing eggs and estrogen levels decline. This leads to the cessation of menstruation and can bring symptoms like hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, and mood changes. While it signifies the end of fertility, menopause also brings a sense of freedom from menstruation.
Post Menopause
Post menopause refers to the stage following menopause, typically starting one year after a woman’s last menstrual period. During this time, hormone levels stabilize at lower levels, and symptoms like hot flashes and mood swings often decrease in intensity or disappear altogether.
